Pink Eye

Chase got better, but I ended up having an attack of allergic conjunctivitis, mostly on my left eye. I could say something about the odd parallelism there between cat and slave, but I won't. Ü

I thought it was just eyestrain or something until I rubbed my left eye hard enough to make it puff up. Very not good, seeing part of your eye get puffy and fluid-filled, rather like a blister. I got my handy-dandy Spersallerg (like Visine, but with antihistamines) out of the medicine cabinet and flooded my eyes with it far more often than the one to two drops every three hours that it recommends, but to no avail. Eventually, I had to take a couple tablets of Celestamine at work. Now, I know that as far as antihistamines go, Celestamine is probably ranked the lowest in terms of strength, but I avoid taking it because any sort of antihistamine or cold medication totally knocks me out. Yes, even the ones that say non-drowse. I had to turn the car radio way up on my home so I wouldn't fall asleep.
